Alpha Night
Delaware Lanes dedicates a regular bowling night to people of all abilities and backgrounds. Alpha Night is open to all ages and experience levels — no prior bowling experience needed. It’s one of our favorite nights of the week.

Home of the Olentangy Berlin Bears
Delaware Lanes is the home bowling alley for the Olentangy Berlin Bears varsity bowling team. When the Bears play at home, these lanes are their lanes — and we couldn’t be prouder of that partnership.
Home meet dates affect open lane availability, so if you’re planning a visit during a school year weeknight, a quick call will confirm whether lanes are open.

Aim for
the Arrows
Use the lane arrows as your target — not the pins. Hitting the middle arrow straight means a strike every time.
What's
a Turkey?
Three strikes in a row. The most celebrated word in bowling — and the reason you hear cheering from lane 7 at 8pm on a Thursday.
The Pin
Formation
Ten pins in a triangle — the headpin (1) is your anchor. Hit it slightly off-center and watch the chain reaction do the work.
Picking up
a Spare
Two shots per frame. If you miss the strike, don't aim at the headpin — aim directly at what's left standing. Simpler than it looks.
